Easy by Tammara Webber - Review
Wow. Easy has completely blown me away. I had seen this book around a lot in the blog-o-sphere and everyone seemed to be raving about just how great it was. Many of you may know that recently, I've really been getting into the New Adult genre reading books like Dublin Street, Beautiful Disaster and The Edge of Never. I decided that I absolutely had to read Easy and the only thing that I'm disappointed in is that I didn't start it sooner.

Starcrossed (Starcrossed, #1) by Josephine Angelini - Review
I am a huge fan
of Greek Mythology retellings in the YA genre. I'll read almost anything from Percy Jackson to the Goddess Test and I've had Starcrossed for a while now. For some
reason, I had read some really bad reviews for this book so I wanted to make
sure I was in the right mood to read it. And I was! I waited until I was unbelievably
sick, home from work and it was raining. For me, that is the perfect
combination for reading and I devoured this book... in one day.

Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer - Review
As the year is beginning to come to a close, I've realized
that there are a lot of books I missed out on this year. There were so many
great debuts that have come out that I simply didn't read and I don't know why.
And so, as 2013 is looming, I'm trying to get in some last minute reads
before their sequels come out in the spring. Cinder by Marissa Meyer
is one such book.

The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski - Review
After reading On Dublin Street in October, I've been searching for a romance read to equal it. I really fell in love with that story and even after two months, I still can't get that story out of my head. After going on an eBook shopping spree, I came across The Edge of Never. I recognized some of J.A. Redmerski's other books from blogger friends and I thought I'd give this one a try.

Paranormalcy (Paranormalcy, #1) by Kiersten White - Review
I want to start this review off to explain a little bit
more about where I got this book. If you're a blogger (and even if you're not)
and you haven’t heard about the YA Book Exchange yet, you're sorely
missing out. This new site is a trading post for YA books. Essentially, you add
books to the site and communicate with other traders to trade for books you
want! I traded Wake by Amanda Hocking for this little gem and I've done a lot
of other trades on the site as well. It's a great place to get to know others
in the blogging community and trade your books for ones you've been dying to
get your hands on!

As most of you know, W.O.W. is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine that helps bloggers showcase those books that they can't wait to get their hands on! I'm changing things up a little bit this week and going with a few different picks, rather than just one! I'm showcasing a book this week that I saw on another blog (I can't remember where I saw this book so if you recently used this in a WOW post or if you recently reviewed it, thank you for letting me know about this book!)

Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful, #1) by Jamie McGuire - Review
I picked up Beautiful Disaster knowing that there was some controversy surrounding the story. While it's labeled as a YA book, many readers and reviewers alike are upset because of the racy content; Sex, violence, gambling and unhealthy relationships fill this book and possibly the minds of the young readers who are drawn to this book. Is it mislabeled or misjudged?

Reflected in You (Crossfire, #2) by Sylvia Day - Review
I've been catching up on some much needed reading, giving my book shelves and Kindle lots of TLC and so I'm hopefully back to blogging full time. Whew! It's been a crazy month and a half but I'm back in a rhythm and much happier to be reading once again. For some reason, I've been drawn to reading romance novels and less strictly YA books. That's not to say I'm not going to be reading and reviewing YA books, but I needed some fluffy books to get me relaxed and reading... and these did the trick! I picked up Reflected in You even though I said I wouldn't be reading another of Syliva Day's books... never say never I guess?

Ironskin by Tina Conolly - Review
Well after a long couple weeks of packing up, moving, unpacking and starting a new job... I finally finished a book. I was disappointed with this bookthat I finished. Lately, I've been starting books and then putting them back down, uninterested in the content. I don't know whether it was my stressful personal life or if this Jane Eyre re-telling just wasn't for me but it wasn't my cup of tea.

Bared to You (Crossfire, #1) by Sylvia Day - Review
On the heels of the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon, there were bound to be some look-a-likes floating around. Quite obvioulsy, Bared to You has been marketed to be the next Fifty Shades and so I had to pick this little treasure up and give it a try.

Half-Blood (Covenant, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout - Review
I began reading Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout just after finishing Obsidian, which was a stellar read. I have to say that while I did enjoy reading this book, I was somewhat disappointed with the similarities between Half-Blood and the Vampire Academy series. As a new fan of Richelle Mead, I was pretty dumbfounded with the obvious similarities.

Some updates and giveaway winners!
Well folks, it's been a long time and no blogging for this girl. I've had possibly the craziest month of the year, working upwards of 15 hours a day which left no time for reading or blogging. Obsidian (Lux, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout - Review
Now for the better part of my blogging experience, and that's been about 8 months now, I've been hearing things about Daemon. I've seen Obsidian's book cover all over the blogosphere and I've been reading reviews for a while now, most are glowing and of course all about Daemon. Bloggers across the interweb have been drooling over this handsome devil and it's sadly taken me this long to read the book and I'm glad I did. This reason being that I only have to wait a week for Onyx to be released instead of months. In all honesty, it doesn't make it any easier.

Waiting on Wednesday: Onyx (Lux, #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Today is my first Waiting on Wednesday post!
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly host hosted by Breaking the Spine! Today I'm anxiously awaiting book two in the Lux series, Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Now I just finished the first book, Obsidian a few days ago and it's all I can think about. I tried reading another one of her books but all I wanted was Daemon's snarky attitude and those alien green eyes. So, even though it's only about a week away, I am going crazy waiting on Onyx!

Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy, #6) by Richelle Mead- Review
Well guys, I've finished the series. I have to say that after reading all six of these wonderful books, Richelle Mead is the queen of vampire fiction. These books are beautifully and skillfully written and while I'm happy that I finished the series, I'm also disappointed I won't get to read more from Rose's point of view. After a very small amount of deliberation, I'll be starting the Bloodlines series next. I was going to take a Richelle Mead reading break, but after finished Last Sacrifice last night, I've decided I need something else to hold me over!

Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy, #5) by Richelle Mead - Review
And I've finished another one of the Vampire Academy books and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now, I'm not sure if I'm excited to start the last book and have the series come to a close as I'm so excited/anxious to figure out what Ms. Mead has in store, or if I'm completely heart broken to be done with this series. I think the end of the next book will answer that question for me but until I get there, please enjoy this review of book five, Spirit Bound. Once again, I will try and keep the review as spoiler free as possible, but as you know, I'm pretty dang excited about the series so a little something here or there may slip!

Blood Promise (Vampire Academy, #4) by Richelle Mead - Review
Part of me really didn't want to write this review tonight... mostly because I want to be reading the next book Spirit Bound. I don't know what it is about the VA series, but I devour these books in only a matter of days (sometimes hours!) and Blood Promise was no different. Once again, I will warn you that there may be some semi spoilers in this review. I've really enjoyed the dialog I've had with other readers on these books and so I don't want to be too cryptic about my opinions.

Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy, #3) by Richelle Mead - Review
I have one word for you: Amazing. Shadow Kiss was such a thrill ride that I read all 440 pages in one night... I just couldn't stop. Now after that one amazing word, I think I may have a few other words for Richelle Mead because of how she made me feel at the end of this heart breaker. I'm only joking, Shadow Kiss has further put me in awe of Mead's talented storytelling and superb writing. I know I normally do spoiler free reviews and I can assure you I will not be giving away any huge plot twists, but be cautious in reading this review as I feel like I need to get some things off my chest that may spoil some mystery to the series.

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead - Review
I'm so excited that I finished the first book in the Vampire Academy series. I've been waiting to start it for a while and now that I have, I'm so excited to continue on with this series. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend Richelle Mead's launch party for her newest book. I had never read any of her books, but I was excited to see her speak nonetheless. She completely charmed me and I bought almost all of her books... yep... a lot of them.

Hush, Hush has been sitting on my bookshelf staring at me for some time now. It also gives me the eye anytime I see it in the books store and so this lazy Saturday morning, I decided to give it a try. I read the whole book this morning and I have to say I was in a very good mood all day, thinking of fallen angels and boys named Patch...

Abandon (Abandon Trilogy #1) by Meg Cabot - Review
I will start off by saying that I've never read any of Meg Cabot's books. This was my introduction into her writing and I think I probably should have chosen another book to begin with. I've heard some great things about her writing and I picked Abandon out because I love mythology retelling and I thought another Persephone myth would be right up my alley. I wasn't a huge fan of this book, but I have no doubt that others will have a different opinion than me.
