All right people... I thought I could stop afterCity of Bones, but quite obviously you see that I could not. After finishing City of Bones for the second time, I figured I might as well read the rest of the books in the series, as City of Lost Souls comes out in roughly a week. I got through City of Ashes much faster thanCity of Bones and so hopefully my quick reading streak continues and I can finish City of Glass and City of Angels before May 8th. Now, I'm going to write this as spoiler free as humanly possible, so feel safe in reading my review if you are new to The Mortal Instruments series!

City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments #1) by Cassandra Clare - Reveiw
I know what you're thinking... long, long time no blog, right? We'll it's been one of those work weeks where I work a 9 hour day at work, come home eat and sleep. I have to say I'm a little stressed. But I decided to sit down and read City of Bones again. It's been a month of re-reads for me. I've used the books that I've read over and over again almost like I use mashed potatoes as my comfort food. So, without further adieu, here is my review for City of Bones!

My Blood Approves (My Blood Approves #1) by Amanda Hocking - Review
I’m going to start off with the most obvious thing to say about this book… it’s about vampires. The totally rad Amanda Hocking has brought us yet another riveting tale of mythical creatures and this time, it’s the blood sucking variety. I started reading this after I had already finished the Trylle Series by Miss Hocking and I have to say that I was a little apprehensive. It takes a really, really great and unique vampire story to get me to love it… and she did it!

Shadow of the Mark by Leigh Fallon Reveal!
Leigh Fallon, the author ofCarrier of the Mark, has announced the title of her second book to the series: Shadow of the Mark! She also said that while there is no official release date yet, it will be sometime in early 2013. Check out her article on her blog!
If you haven't readCarrier of the Mark (the first installment of this brilliant trilogy) then you are definitely missing out. It's got Irish accents, hunky guys and ancient magic! If the first book is any indication of what Shadow of the Mark will bring, then we should be super duper excited!

Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter - Review
Let me start off by saying that The Goddess Test was one of my favorite books from last year, and that after reading The Goddess Hunt, Carter's novella, I was even more excited for Goddess Interrupted. I'm a huge fan of fiction containing Greek Mythology... it's always been something that fascinates me and Carter has a special way of spinning a tale in a way that hasn't been done before.
