Review: Come Away With Me (In Seattle, #1) by Kristen Proby

The In Seattle series is one of my favorites. I love a series that follows a group of people, featuring a new couple in each installment. Series that go 3, 4, and even 5 books about the same couple are annoying to wait for and can make me lose interest by the time the next installment is released. If you're like me, you won't be able to put the books in this series down!

Being confronted on the beach by a sexy stranger wasn't part of Natalie Conner's plans for a peaceful morning taking photos. And why on earth would he think she's taking pictures of him, anyway? One thing’s for sure... he’s hot and incredibly romantic which is exactly what Natalie needs.

Actings superstar Luke Williams just wants the world to give him a break. So when he sees yet another camera aimed at his face, he's ready to pounce on the beauty behind the lens. When he finds out she has no idea who he is, he's intrigued and more than a little tempted by her. Natalie has a body made for sex, a sassy mouth and Luke can’t get enough of her, but he’s not ready to tell her who he really his.

What I love about Natalie is that she's a no nonsense girl who doesn’t do well with lies and secrets. She's honest, sassy and fun. She was my favorite kind of leading lady to read about and her character really made the book for me.

And of course, there's Luke! What girl doesn’t want to bump into one of the hottest movie stars around while on the beach in your small Seattle suburb? (I pictured Taylor Kitsch). He is charming, cute and sucessful and heavy on the romantics. I  liked reading a romance where the man did most of the chasing.

Come Away With Me is sweet and sassy and I couldn't put it down. If you’re in the mood for a book that will sweep you off your feet with romance and charm, start the In Seattle series now!

  1. Love a good sassy main character. I actually haven't heard of this one! Now I'm super curious, and I like that he's an actor superstar and not a bad boy with tattoos. Or maybe he's a tattooed-actor-bad-boy. Hmm, lol, I'll have to look into this one :D
