Review: Forever Too Far (Too Far, #3) by Abbi Glines

And it’s here! The final installment of the exciting Too Far series by Abbi Glines. I will admit, I waited a bit before I started reading Forever Too Far because I had a lot on my plate, but I’m happy I did. The story was so great and I loved seeing a happy ending for one of my favorite NA couples.

Rush and Blaire are embarking on the next level of their relationship. With a baby on the way and a marriage impending, these two should be the happiest people on Earth. But just when their blissful lives are about to start together, Nan gets in the way. Rush’s major brat of a sister is having to come to terms with the fact that the absentee father she always thought was hers is actually a rock star. Hoping to keep peace in the family, Rush sets out to try and help this little sis, but it may be at the expense of his unborn son and his future wife.
I really liked this ending to the series. It was a nice way to wrap it up with a neat little bow and also give way to a spin off series that I’m particularly excited for.
Blair and Rush have grown up and grown even closer as the trials of Blair’s pregnancy come to an end. Rush is a sweet, caring, and generous fiancé to Blair and it’s only his love for his sister that seems to get in the way.
Of course we see a lot more of Nan in Forever Too Far. I hate that snobby b*tch. Whew. She makes me angry, but of course, that’s what Glines was going for. In the upcoming spin off series, the main characters are going to be Grant, Rush’s half-brother, Nan and her half-sister Harlow. These are complicated family relationships. It seems the good folks of Rosemary Beach are taking a leaf out of the Star Wars movies. But I’m excited to see where things go with Grant because I’ve been a fan of him since book one and I fell for Harlow. She’s a quiet and well-mannered young girl living amid the dark and tortured lives of rock stars. Can’t wait to see where this goes!
Overall, I really enjoyed Forever Too Far and I can’t wait to see what Glines comes out with next!

  1. I'm actually surprised you liked this one as much as you did. I've heard bad things about the third one of the series -- most say it was unneeded, but it's nice to hear a new perspective. I didn't know there was going to be another spin-off! That's crazy and awesome for the fans. Harlow sounds like a character I would like :D
